For all the tea lovers out there.

Tea tea teaaaaa

I am a huge tea lover, from chinese tea i.e. ginseng oolong, tie guan yin to hyeonmi cha,
matcha to earl grey and green rose tea, they are all my favourite. I enjoy trying different varieties and see how they blend. So heres a tea haul, with 16 different types of tea. From floral blends to white, green, black, infusions and rooibos( pronounced as roy-bos), which is a kind of tea thats sweet and leaves are from shrubs. It might be a even healthier option as it provides great health benefits.

I came across this brand called La Petite Planèthé i was in Valencia, Spain. It is situated in a quiet alleyway, its shop instantly caught my eye as i walked pass, when the scent of tea flew in your nostrils, you just couldn't resist it. I got a few packs and tried it when i got back home. IT WAS SUPERB.

how lovely !

They source tea from all around the world. It was inexpensive, it was great. It comes in 50g, 100g packaging. Each ranged from 2euro to around 5 euro each. Recently they have online ordering services. So heres the newbies.

All the tea, tightly packed and sealed in the box. Shipping was quite expensive but depends on your area, it was 22euro for less than 600g, and apparently its the cheapest it can get, so i kept my order under 600g, and it took around 2 weeks from ordering to arrival. Each package has a hand written name on it (shows their heart-warming love to each tea they sell right), the correct timing to brew and if you should drink it by itself or with milk or sugar or honey and so, also its expiry date. I contacted them through email, though they weren't the speediest in replying due to the time difference, they were well mannered and sincere in helping me out through the order. I might've been their customer that was the most distant and largest order they've had.

Detailed receipt and list of teas of choice from LapetitePlanethe along with their business card.

Ginger

請不要take it literally,Ginger絕對是直的。
直接點說,我有個像女人般的男友;
又或是,我的男友像個女人;

他愛漂亮,有一雙楚楚可人的淺啡色大眼睛、細緻白滑的皮膚、殺死人的笑容。真的,沒有跨張,我認為他只要戴個假髮,化個淡妝,唔洗痴好似隻醒獅咁既假眼睫毛,亦唔洗戴死魚大眼con,已經靚過好多港女;

Ginger

「Ginger...

The Ultimate Review of 3 concept eyes we've been waiting for.

What is 3ce?

Source: 3concepteyes blog

So, being a fan of stylenanda influenced by *cough*ginger, aside from ordering their awesome clothing's i also started using their own brand of cosmetics, 3 concept eyes.

For more info of the brand you can go to their own website here.

At the start of the year i am lucky enough to go to the stylenanda flagship store in Hongdae, Seoul. 3ce was situated on ground floor level, nice and quiet with friendly staffs wearing a smile.

This might be the most comprehensive review of 3ce as i couldn't find much online. So here we GO!

They got a few sizes for their makeup pouches, the one on the left is the small and the one on the right is their synthetic triangle pouch.

Source: 3ce website
  • This is their cream blusher #coral coral, its rather orangey, which gives your cheeks a dash of tanned like cuteness. It is also a huge tube considering how little you use each time.

  • The deep moisturising body oil is just great for lazy people as you don't even need to rub it into your skin, it just dries off and you're good to go. The top part is oil and the bottom is water. Shake it well each time before you use to get the shine for your skin. Mists are great for summer as it doesn't have the sticky and greasy feeling normal body cream might give you.
  • Their treatment oil smells contains a bit of micro shimmering glitter is so small you only can see it if you use a magnifying glass. Your skins goes vibrant and soft, its best to use before you sleep so the next day when you wake up you get this natural glow on. It smells great too!
  • The facial mists are just handy when you are in humid countries! A small size for going out and a big one for after make up to settle it in.
  • Their fabric refresher smells awesome and clean! I personally like their soap one better because it smells  like fresh linen. It kinda works for a perfume for me.

                                                                                                  Source: 3ce website

Their nail polishes lasts for weeks for me, but may be its just because i used OPI top and base coat, still they have a great color collection.

The brows are essential for me, they defs need to be touched up before i leave the house, its even more important than eyeliner now! Their brow mascara comes in two colors, a lighter one and a darker one, its okay because its not TOOOO obvious. Their eyebrow kit is awesome, i love their brush that comes with the kit, it has a sharp edge which is easier for you to style your brows.

These are the freebies stylenanda gave out, theres a black mini nail polish, a creamy eyeliner and a bohemian eye colour. Very generous of them RIGHT! WE ALL LOVE FREEBIES DON'T WE!
Stylenanda sends their ready in stock out asap as soon as you order, so the stock that aren't ready yet would come in another shipping, which is good and bad, you do want to see your stuff quickly but the parcel collection would not be one-off.

    From the left to right
Lip marker #PINK, Lip Stick #ChuChu, #Glass Orange, #Peach Peach
    Bottom
    Lip Crayon #Pink Smoothie
I loved their Lip products, just didn't like their Jumbo Lip Crayon, it wasn't as smooth as the lip sticks, and it needed a pencil sharpener so it wasn't as convenient as the lip sticks. The lip marker was awesome, because it has this natural sheer of redness to the lips. The glass orange was a nice light, kinda transparent-ish sheer of orange, a bit shiny and not as matte as the others.
The waterful concealer #002 is an awesome concealer, wasn't dry AT ALL. matched my skin tone perfectly, the only downside to it is its too small, it should come in a bigger size!! The eyelash curler is just like one of the normal curlers.

This is their creamy eyeliner #chocolate and #brown ultra slim eyeliner. The creamy eyeliner is great for creating a bit of a smokey look, whereas the ultra thin eyeliner is the opposite, its lines are really defined and like its name, REALLY THIN, but you need to apply a few more lines to make it more darker as the first few strokes are really light.

Their primer didn't work for me as i thought it was a bit thick, and make me cakey, same as the chiffon fluid, the fluid might be even more thick but the coverage was good.

The pore silky balm didn't do much to my pores, at first i just applied some on my face and lumps of the balm appeared, and then i read online that you should heat it up on your palm first, but it still didn't work for me. Their magic face maker is essentially a highlighter and a shader. I haven't gotten to try this yet because i don't have a brush for it yet but it seems like a useful powder that can be used around the nose to make the nose bridge more obvious. Sometimes people use eyeshadow as a substitute too, but i just thought every powder should have it's own purpose hehe its just a reason for me to own one more of their products.

Yes, a cup of joe may seem like a must, but....

LEMON WATER is a great substitute!!

As oppose to just plain water to cleanse your body first thing in the day, Lemon water gives a bit more than the bland taste. I make a jar of lemon water once in a while, drink a cup a day to detoxify, it gives great vitamins and minerals you need! Its easy and cheap to cleanse and keep you healthy.

    One step at a time.

We headed down to Sheung Wan today, wanting to explore the side streets that sell quirky things that don't come from your usual department stores. We hiked up from the Sheung Wan MTR stop and boy, was it a long hike! Perhaps it was because the weather was humid and sunny, every step felt heavier than the last. We stood staring at these flight of stairs for a long time, our legs having to have started to ache by now. How old are we? How come a little exercise has made us lose our breath? We think we are quite fit: walking to and from work everyday. Yet we can't master these few flights of stairs? How weak of us. Imagine ten, twenty, or thirty years on; even if we wanted to walk up it, we probably wouldn't be physically fit enough. So must try and conquer things while we are young, even if it is something as simple as a flight of stairs. Doesn't matter if you take one step and rest a little, so long as you don't stop. It takes a lot of energy, determination and persistence to keep going. Do not underestimate the steps you have to take till you reach the top.

    And Lily goes sentimental....

    True story.

This granny got a perfume from her husband on white valentines. He remembered her words, she said she liked a scent that someone else was wearing in her line dancing class. He went and got her a perfume, regardless if its the one she wanted, he remembered, he cared and he turned it into action. Their 60 years of love is what i admire the most. Isn't that what we want when we grow old?

    3 girls. 1 idea.

Nacho is from Australia. Ginger and Lily are from Hong Kong. Ginger is older than Lily so that's why she deserves the first part of the flower's name.

This is just a place to share our thoughts about everyday life from fashion to food to travelling to random things we encounter as we walk through this life. We love to talk so why not put it all into writing? Posts will be made using a bit of Chinglish in order to embrace both the Aussie and Hongkongnese culture.

We hope you enjoy reading this as much as we enjoy writing about it!
